After a week of cutting, stapling, cleaning, laminating, and setting up, my classroom is finally ready to go. Today at 2 o'clock we had open house. I met most of my new students. Some are ready to come back to school while others are dreading summer's end.You will notice my classroom is in a portable. At my school all 5th grade is outside in portables.

One of my students brought me beautiful flowers and a Starbucks gift card! So thoughtful.I am going to try my best to keep the blog up and running once the school year starts. My teacher life takes up a lot of time and sometimes leaves me exhausted once the school day is over. In addition to going back to school, I have 3 weddings in September. I promise I'll be back, just not sure when.
